Lovely sea views of Barmouth Bay and the Lleyn Peninsula can be enjoyed from most rooms in this coastal property. The house is situated on the outskirts of the seaside town of Llwyngwril between Tywyn and Dolgellau. Llwyngwril has a village store and a pub which serves food. A train track runs between the end of the garden and the sea and at holiday times the Fairbourne steam train goes by as well as the service train. There is a designated crossing over the train track for easy access to the beach.

Situated close to one of the most beautiful stretches of the Pembrokeshire coastline at Strumble Head, this delightful cottage, part of the original farmhouse predating 1795, makes a perfect holiday base. Goodwick is just over 3 miles away and Fishguard a little further, both have a good selection of shops, galleries and places to eat. There are numerous beaches and coves along this stretch of the coast and it is a great place to dolphin and seal watch. Abermawr beach is about 2 miles and Strumble Head about 1. The cottage has recently been totally refurbished carefully and it retains its original character.
Entrance is into the spacious open plan sitting and dining room which has a huge inglenook fireplace which is big enough to sit in! There is a slate floor, open beams (with the original ham hooks) and a woodburning stove to warm you after a days walking. The sitting area has a leather sofa, armchair, coffee table, DVD, books and games. The dining area has a table and 3 chairs. The kitchen is fully fitted with a range of Shaker style units, an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a microwave oven. Strumble Head is stunningly beautiful and a great place for walking and watching wildlife. St Davids and Newport are within a half hour drive and well worth visiting. There are 186 miles of coastal path to enjoy and the coastal bus service passes close by. The Farmhouse dates back to 1795 and has been sympathetically restored.
