The barn conversion has been tastefully restored; the aim has been to maintain the character and charm of the existing structure, whilst offering home from home comforts throughout. The entrance leads into the hallway and through to the attractive lounge diner, where one can enjoy views of the beach. The spacious lounge/dining room has a high arched beamed ceiling, exposed stone walls, quarry-tiled floors and logburner ideal for those winter evenings. The lounge is furnished with comfortable cane furniture, colour TV, video, DVD player, CD player and the dining area contains a pine Welsh dresser, oak drop leaf table and chairs and items of occasional furniture. The kitchen area is well-equipped with oak fitted units, electric cooker, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. French doors lead off the lounge onto a decked area, where one can sit in the evening and relax after exploring this dramatic coastline of St Bride's Bay. Garden furniture is provided. A couple of steps lead off the decked area onto a small-enclosed lawned garden, which is suitable for small children to play. A steep alternate tread "space saver" staircase leads from the lounge up to the twin bedroom, which has a low A beamed ceiling, velux windows and makes an ideal getaway for older children. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor one contains a double bed and the other contains twin beds; both bedrooms have matching bedroom furniture. Pretty bedlinen is provided for the beds which all have duvets. A cot, highchair and stair gates top and bottom are provided. The bathroom is on the ground floor and contains bath, shower over bath, wash hand basin and WC. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, but are not to be left at the cottage or allowed on the furniture. Full gas central heating is throughout the cottage, gas and electricity is included in the rental. This is a no smoking cottage. There is ample private parking. There is partial underfloor heating in this property, also the multifuel stove which heats the radiators, this is further backed up by electric wall mounted convector heaters, electricity will be charged according to use.
