The second bedroom contains twin beds and matching furniture. Pretty bedlinen is provided for the beds, which all have duvets. Nearby is Narberth, which is well worth a visit as it has a superb range of galleries and eateries. The county town of Haverfordwest with its impressive castle dominating the landscape is also close by and boasts an excellent range of individual shops, galleries, pubs, restaurants and a riverside market with a Farmers Market every other Friday. St Davids and Tenby are about half an hours drive from this property. There are numerous fabulous beaches close by as well as some superb castles and family attractions. The area is wonderful for walking with the stunning coastal scenery of the 186 miles of Pembrokeshire Coastal Path close by. The Strumble Shuttle (National Park bus service) will pick you up and drop you off outside the property (see link on our website) and take you along the coast enabling you to walk a different section of the path each day. Goodwick and Fishguard are both close by and have a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries. There is a riding stable within walking distance and the Irish Ferry sails from Fishguard to Rosslare daily.

Enjoying a quiet location, this cosy cottage is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac in the heart of the village close to the Teifi Estuary. St Dogmaels is close to Poppit Sands, the most northerly beach in Pembrokeshire and is the start (or end) of the 186 miles of Coastal Path. St Dogmaels Abbey ruins are a spectacular sight, the Abbey was built in the 12th century by Benedictine monks and in the summer you may be lucky enough to attend an open air play or concert in the grounds. The village mill pond is situated beside the working flour mill and opposite the Abbey's Visitor Centre which serves good food. There are several pubs in the village and Cardigan Market Town and Castle is just over a mile away.

The beaches at Parrog, Cwm yr Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod are just a few minutes away and the Coastal Path is easily accessed from this cottage. Newport has a good selection of pubs, village stores, restaurants and a golf club. The "Walkers Bus" and regular service bus can be caught at the end of the lane. The larger beach of Traeth Mawr is approximately 2 miles away and has a lovely long stretch of silver sand with rock pools and cliffs. There are riding stables at the next farm which offer rides over the mountains and to the coast. The owner has made every effort to provide welcoming quality accommodation at this lovely spot. Fresh hot bread, cakes and "ready meals" are available daily from the owner?s daughter in law.
